It is now more than 1 year after the far-reaching fire on June 26, 2019 at Galvanotechnische Oberflächen GmbH at Heinsdorfergrund, which destroyed two electro-plating-lines for zinc and zinc-nickel coating.

We are proud that all damage that has arisen has now been eliminated and all lost customer orders successfully returned back to the KAP Surface Technologies group.

The completion of all new capacities, which will be state of the art, is announced for late summer 2020. Despite Corona - fully on schedule!

During the clean-up work new social rooms  are available for the employees on site, as well as a fully equipped new laboratory for all wet chemical analyzes, which run daily.

There were several reasons to celebrate, because Gt Oberflächen GmbH looks back on 10 successful years in electroplating - industry. Nicolai A. J. Baum, CEO of KAP Surface Holding, thanked the local management for the tireless efforts of the employees.
