After many years of preparation for vocational training, Heiche Hungary signed a scholarship contract with three apprentices. These contracts were ceremoniously signed with the trainees on March 9th, 2020 in the presence of the parents and the rector of the vocational school. Regional television was also present when the contract was signed and interviewed the young people.

Ten young men are currently in their first year of training full-time in the vocational school. From the second year of apprenticeship, 30 percent of the trainees are at the vocational school and 70 percent at Heiche and are trained as chemical surface coaters. Since 2013, the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce & Chamber of Commerce (DUIHK) has announced the annual vocational training award in the categories of motivation, cooperation and innovation.

On the occasion of the award ceremony on March 12th, 2020 in Budapest, Heiche's work for the long-standing project "Reviving a forgotten profession in Hungary" was recognized by the DUIHK. The managing director of Heiche Hungary Surface Technology Kft, Mr. Ralf Lutz, was presented with an award certificate.

This award from the DUIHK motivates Heiche Hungary Kft. And underpins its commitment to the next school year to also offer specialist trades in commercial training,
logistics and mechatronics.
