Surface technology process: Degreasing / Etching / Washing

We clean and activate metallic surfaces as a pretreatment for subsequent downstream processes such as gluing, bonding or welding. We use this developed material-specific method especially for light metals. Through various etching processes for aluminum and aluminum alloys, metallic clean surfaces can be achieved, which can provide excellent adhesion preparation for further processing. Magnesium alloys can be treated by us as well, with our specially developed acidic etching process it can be used as an excellent primer for veneer bonding. In addition to the light metals, steel products can be derusted and be protected with special etching and preserving methods. A verification of the cleaning results are possible in our own residual cleanliness laboratory at any time. At customer’s request, we also carry out adhesive tests on the cleaned parts.
