Surface technology process: Anodizing / Hard Anodizing
E coat anodizing generates an aluminum ceramic layer, through an electrolytic oxidation process. In comparison with the base material, the wear resistance increases tremendously. The process is also named as anodization. It can achieve a layer thickness between 3 and 70microns (0.11 and 2.8mil) depending on the procedure. The layers are electrically insulating and are ideal as an adhesive surface. The corrosion protection can be improved by specific sealing processes to 1000h Salt Spray Test.
In the HEICHEGROUP the following anodizing processes can be performed: natural anodizing & hard anodizing .
We use this process for these materials:
Aluminum
