Surface technology process: Phosphating
Phosphating, depending on the crystal structure, is very suitable as a primer for subsequent coatings. It improves drawing, sliding properties and also guarantees a temporary corrosion protection, especially in combination with suitable oil.
In the HEICHEGROUP the following phosphates used:
Manganese phosphate , Zinc phosphate & Zinc calcium phosphate
Advantages of manganese phosphating at a glance:
Good temporary corrosion protection, corrosion resistance up to 72 h salt spray test. Fine crystalline layer structure. Reduction of the coefficient of friction. Improvement of the sliding properties / the running-in behavior of gear elements.
