Surface technology process: Zinc-Nickel alcaline & acid
The galvanically deposited zinc-nickel alloy meets the extremely high corrosion requirements of the automotive industry. This process is reliably commissioned in the most modern, fully automated systems. Zinc-nickle acid is predestined for the coating of cast steel.
key data:
- high long-term corrosion protection, even under high thermal loads
- high base metal corrosion resistance (720 h according to DIN EN ISO 9227)
- Avoidance of contact corrosion in steel parts in connection with aluminum
possible follow-up treatments:
- thick-film passivation (CrVI-free)
- transparent passivation (CrVI-free)
- black passivation (CrVI-free)
- sealing
- lubricant
